With clients I like to make 2 distinctions –
1- What is your mission?
2- What’s your vision?
You see when we have a mission it is something we are looking to create externally. It is a grand idea we are creating to fulfill a deep purpose in the outer world and a deeper purpose inside of ourselves. When we align ourselves with this mission we become empowered and energized to take on the world and be emboldened to harness new opportunities. I met with an amazing man that genuinely I admire.
We had a powerful coaching conversation and pulled out of him his deep purpose to cultivate community and uplift the health and lifestyle of those around him. He bought a farm with no previous farming experience and is now thriving into his mission by bringing together powerful souls to demand a change for his children.
Now when we have a vision we connect to a place to come from, not a place to get to. It’s like we are time travelers and we are rewriting our dna to live through what we want to be. If you imagine yourself as a successful musician and figure out how that musician would think and act you can transform how you show up daily to your life. With that vision of your new self you can embody the new you from a place of calm awareness.
So I ask you –
What is your mission?
What’s your vision?
